Data Deletion Instructions

ThinkCollab is operated by Thinkster Creativity Nexus LLP (“ThinkCollab”, “we”, “us” or “our”). This page explains every way to have your personal data deleted — the whole account, or just the data obtained from a connected Instagram account.

For your protection, deletion is only performed for the verified account holder: from inside your signed-in account, or through an email exchange verified against the email address registered to the account. We do not operate a public form that deletes accounts by email address, because such a form would let anyone delete anyone.

The fastest route, available in the product at any time:

• Sign in and open Settings → Account (thinkcollab.in/settings/account).
• Scroll to the Danger zone and choose Delete account.
• Type the confirmation phrase and confirm.

Your name, profile photo, phone number and email address are erased immediately, your account is marked deleted and you are signed out. Remaining records are hard-deleted on a scheduled cycle within 90 days — section 5 lists the narrow exceptions the law requires us to keep.

If you own an organisation, transfer ownership to another member first — deletion is refused otherwise, so a workspace is never left without an owner.

If you want to keep your ThinkCollab account but remove the connection to Instagram:

• Sign in and open Verification → Accounts, then choose Disconnect on the Instagram account.
• Disconnecting deletes the stored access token, so ThinkCollab can no longer access the account through Meta’s APIs.
• You can additionally revoke ThinkCollab’s access from Instagram itself, in your Instagram or Facebook settings under connected apps and websites.

To also erase the metrics history recorded while the account was connected, ask us by email as described in section 4, or delete your account, which removes it on the schedule above.

If you cannot sign in — or you want specific data erased rather than the account —

• Email support@thinkcollab.in with the subject “Data deletion request”.
• Send the request from the email address registered to the account, and say what you want deleted — the whole account, the Instagram connection, or specific data.
• We verify the request against the registered address before acting on it, and we reply only to that address. We aim to complete verified requests within 30 days and confirm when done.

Requests relating to a Meta app connection

If you arrived here from Instagram or Facebook after removing ThinkCollab from your connected apps, the same email route applies: tell us the Instagram username that was connected, from the email address registered to the ThinkCollab account, and we will delete the associated platform data and confirm.

Deleted

• your name, profile photo, phone number and email address — immediately;
• your sign-in identity and sessions — you are signed out at once;
• stored Instagram access tokens — on disconnect or account deletion;
• remaining account records — hard-deleted on a scheduled cycle within 90 days.

Kept, without your erased personal details

• invoices, contracts and payment records, for the periods tax and accounting law requires;
• the audit log of significant account actions, kept for security and legal defence;
• messages and collaboration records that belong to the other party’s workspace as their business records — attributed to a deleted user, not to your erased details.
